Eat Pray Love (2010)

Eat Pray Love (2010) needs no introduction. It was a monster hit that was parodied and mocked in a major way throughout the 2010's. Based on the best-selling book by Elizabeth Gilbert, whose writing also inspired Coyote Ugly (2000), the film follows Liz (Julia Roberts), an unhappily married woman who decides she needs a change. Even though he's not a bad guy and they've been together for eight years, she divorces her husband Stephen (Billy Crudup) and sets out on a globe-trotting journey to discover herself. Her three revelations revolve around the food she eats in Italy, the prayers she prays in India, and the inner love she experiences in Bali. And did we mention all the dreamy guys she hooks up with? There are kind of a lot. In Italy, Liz starts hanging out with a tutor (Luca Argentero) trying to teach her the native tongue. In India, she meets a straight shootin Texan she nicknamed Texas Richard (Richard Jenkins) trying to get his metaphysical mind right just like she is. But it's in Bali where Liz meets a Brazilian dude named Felipe, who turns into her most sexually charged fling. From James Franco to Javier Bardem, Mr. Man could only pray to make love, or even just eat out, dudes as hot as the ones Liz does. Yet it's a non-star, David Lyons, that gets the gold star! David doffs his duds to dance it up at a night beach, baring his terrifically taught tush and torso as he has the time of his life!
