Review

Even though the first rule of Fight Club (1999) is never talk about fight club, we can’t help ourselves from spreading the word about the movie’s muscular guns! Based on the same-named novel by Chuck Palahniuk, David Fincher’s cult classic centers around an insomniac office drone (Edward Norton) who finds an outlet for his anger issues when meets the irreverent Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt). Tyler introduces him to an underground world where men beat the hell out of each other while strangers cheer them on. Did we mention he’s also the mastermind behind terrorist acts that target big business? It’s a twisted tale where all is not what it seems, especially when seductress Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter) is thrown into the mix. The psychological thriller includes Jared Leto, Meat Loaf, and Mr. Norton’s skin! When he and Mr. Leto face off, we get to view their naked chests. In another scene, Edward bares his back and ass while in the sack with his leading lady. Maybe that’s why the Online Film Critics Society nominated him for Best Actor. The R rated flick also nabbed noms for Best Film, Best Director, Best Editing, and Best Adapted Screenplay. Yet Mr. Man has a statuette in his pants for Mr. Pitt. Gloriously toned and tight, the sexy superstar spends much of this pic showing off his sweaty pecs as he dons low-riding trousers that are arousing. Suffice it to say, the second rule of fight club is beating off while ogling Brad’s built bod!
