This gay romance film from Ray Yeung follows a gay fashion stylist in New York City, Ryan Fu (Jake Choi), who rejects his Chinese upbringing whenever he thinks it could get in the way of his rising up the corporate ladder. After landing a job as assistant to massively successful celebrity stylist Francesca (Sonia Villani), he lands the assignment of styling Chinese actor Qi Xiao Ning (James Chen). Clashingin a major way because Mr. Ning rejects every Westernized outfit Ryan tries to put on him in favor of the most Chinese stuff he can find, the pair begin a rocky friendship that gets increasingly more intense. Soon the two men explore their identities - and sexualities - together. But while Ryan does his best to hide his Chinese heritage, Ning has his own secret thing. He's deeply closeted, in large part because he knows that China won't accept a leading man that's into men. When a Chinese tabloid starts spreading rumors about Ryan and Ning doing the wild thing, Ning begs Ryan to deny it.
