Joe (2013)

The intense drama Joe (2013) follows ex-con Joe Ransom (Nicolas Cage), a heavy-drinking, police-agitating, reckless gambler who works as a supervisor in a forestry job. Joe is nothing but bad news, until he crosses paths with Gary Jones (Tye Sheridan), a fifteen year old homeless kid that struggles to deal with life, mainly because of Wade (Gary Poulter), his abusive and alcoholic father. There’s a heart of gold that beats inside of the titular character. He takes the dejected teen under his wing, gives him a job, and shows him how to deal with life. There are a lot of emotions in this flick, but very little skin. Nicolas Cage briefly shows off his jacked-up physique as he dresses a wound. Sexy! Nicolas isn’t your average Joe!
