Ryan Gosling is going to play Ken in Greta Gerwig's film Barbie which is about, well, Barbie. The movie is set to be released next summer, but the studio has released some still shots of Barbie and Ken to tease us all with. Margot Robbie is Barbie which makes a lot of sense, but tough and sensitive actor Ryan Gosling does not seem like an immediate fit for Ken. Or does he? I was thinking of him as this, but now that I have seen the photos of him as Ken I am so excited.

Okay, HOT! Ryan Gosling looks like he had a Pride Month makeover or something. He looks like the hottest guy in the club. I would definitely (be too scared to) approach this guy if I saw him at the bar. Move aside, Barbie. I want Ken for myself! The burning question, however, is do we think we will be able to see if he looks like Ken below the belt? Will we see a smooth codpiece or his actual rod?
This movie looks like it will be wild. It will certainly be brightly colored and hot pink which will be a visual delight. This is a far cry from some of Ryan Gosling's dramatic roles like Blue Valentine and The Place Beyond the Pines. We all fell in love with him when he was Noah in The Notebook, but I prefer his Blue Valentine scene because that was his ass debut. After decades of work as an actor, this was his nude debut!
I also really like his sexy scene in Crazy, Stupid, Love in which this shirtless hottie is naked in a locker room and showing a lucky man his dick. We do not get to see said dick, so he really could have been built like Ken and we would have had no idea. His friend's head is in the way which just makes me think of a blowjob. Am I the only one?
Ryan Gosling has been working in the industry since he was a child. The Canadian-born cutie was a Mickey Mouse Club kid! He has come a long way from being a child star to being Ken. I think it was meant to be! Or maybe I have been persuaded by his abs - either way, I'm here for this.
