Born Edward Bridge Danson III, Ted Danson grew up in San Diego, California, and Flagstaff, Arizona. It wasn’t until he was in college at Stanford University that he discovered his love for acting. Once he had the acting bug, he transferred to Carnegie-Mellon University where he studied drama then, after graduating, landed a part as an understudy in an Off-Broadway production of The Real Inspector Hound. In the late 1970s he moved to Los Angeles where he started landing small parts in a variety of TV series like Trapper John, M.D., The Doctors, and Magnum, P.I., to name a few. His big break came in the early 1980s when he landed the part of Sam Malone on the sitcom Cheers. The show would go on to have 270 episodes, win 28 Primetime Emmy Awards, four Golden Globes, and over 150 other awards. Ted himself won Two Emmys and a Golden Globe. While some actors struggle after coming off a long sitcom run, Ted found no shortage of parts in movies like Saving Private Ryan (1998) and Homegrown (1998). He starred in other popular shows like Becker, The Good Place, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Mr. Mayor, and has over 100 credits on his IMDB page.
Ted has never been one to show a lot of skin on camera but there are a few hot moments worth mentioning. In Cousins (!989) we see a shirtless Ted in Bed with Isabella Rossellini. With the sheets pulled down, Ted’s hairy chest is on full display. A little later, the two go skinny dipping but it is shot from a long distance you can’t really see anything good. Ted’s best nudity came in the movie The Amateurs (2005) where Ted plays an actor who finds himself naked on set. While things happen around him, a nude Ted stands with his hands over his junk, but still showing plenty of skin and that sweet ass! It’s hard to say if we will be seeing any more nudity from Mr. Danson but we will keep our horny eyes out and give some cheers if he does!
