The First Wives Club (2019)

Thanks to its asstastic actors, we bet you’ll enjoy the BET series The First Wives Club (2019-2021), not to be confused with the film The First Wives Club (1996) on which this sitcom is loosely based. As you’d expect, the show centers around a group of divorced women who become friends due to their shared experiences. Meet Dr. Bree Washington (Michelle Buteau), Hazel Rachelle (Jill Scott), Ariel “Ari” Montgomery (Ryan Michelle Bathe), and Jayla Wright (Michelle Mitchenor). These colorful women of color depend on their sisterhood to help them overcome and seek revenge on the men who done them wrong. As the ladies devour the Big Apple, the small screen romp provides plenty of sensual shenanigans and female mayhem — not to mention male flesh! In fact, you could say the relationship series begins with a bang since David Montgomery (Mark Tallman) flashes his bare back and raw rump when he humps his wife in the sack during episode 1. Alas, it’s too bad for her that he spent his foreplay time watching porn (not that there’s anything wrong with it). The comical saga also includes Gary Washington (RonReaco Lee), Derrick Ellsworth (Malik Yoba), Curtis (Jordan Carlos), and Jesus (Angel Garet). The latter hottie steams up the lens when he displays his naked T&A in episode 1. Praise Jesus! By episode 6, Wesley Jordan (Terrence Terrell) shows off his awesome abs in bed. The same can be said for the aptly-named Mr. Tallman. So, can Mr. Man join a First Husbands Club?
