Veni Vidi Vici (2017)

With a title like Veni Vidi Vici (2017), you might think you’re about to watch an epic on Ancient Rome. But this production offers a contemporary and comic tone. Not to be confused with the Austrian dramedy Veni Vidi Vici (2024), the Swedish web series centers around a film director named Karsten Daugaard (Thomas Bo Larsen) who is hitting the skids. Not only are his movies critically dissed, they’re box office flops! As such, his wife Jonna (Livia Millhagen) must support him. After she begs him to get a real job, Karsten thinks he’s found a moneymaking solution — and that’s to shoot porn! In other words, this racy romp will pull your leg as you pull another part of your body! Under the direction of the show’s creator Rafael Edholm, we meet Georgina (Michael Wincott), Lene (Mariah Kanninen), Nuuk (Kristofer Kamiyasu), Pinxo (Tom Hygreck), Vinnie Fontana (Rafael Edholm), and Dallas (Christian Gade Bjerrum). The latter dude steams up the small screen when he sheds his threads for the camera lens. Check out Christian’s bare back and buns in episode 1. The same can be said for his pervformance in episodes 3 and 5. If that’s not arousing enough, the Scandinavian sexpot shows off his abs, sack, shaft and ass in episode 2. Talk about an overexposed actor! Not to be outdone, Slick (Fredrik Lexfors) reveals his hairy chest and side rump during a hump in episode 5. Veni Vidi Vici will have you saying, “I came, I saw, I came again!”
