Is Darren Criss Gay? Darren Criss Comes Out As Culturally Queer!

These days, Darren Criss no longer has to dodge questions about his sexuality as he is happily married to Mia Swier and has shared time and again that he is straight. However, if you still catch a whiff of fabulousness from this world-class hottie, there is an explanation. During a fan event this week, Criss came out as Culturally Queer! This dovetails with James Franco's legendary "I'm Gay In My Art" orientation.

Criss most famously played queer in Glee and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, in which he portrayed gay serial killer Andrew Cunanan. When asked about his high-profile queer roles at the Chicago Comic Entertainment Expo this week, Criss responded:

I have been so culturally queer my whole life. Not because I’m trying, you know, actually, I was gonna say, not because I’m trying to be cool, but I’m gonna erase that, because I am trying to be cool. The things in my life that I have tried to emulate, learn from, and be inspired by are 100 percent queer as f*ck.

He's here, he's Culturally Queer, but we'll never get used to it, as Darren is simply one of the sexiest stars in the biz. Thankfully we have his best nudity right here. He went above and beyond the call of booty for his Ryan Murphy Versace series. In the best scene, the camera gets nice and close to Darren's incredibly smooth butt as he dives into a swimming pool fully naked during the golden hour. It's just beautiful.

Representation matters, and the more actors who dare to come out as Culturally Queer, the better. Bravery has a new face, and we want to sit on it!
