It’s hard to believe Cameron Mathison comes from the cold confines of the Great White North since he hardly ever wears a shirt. Granted, it’s probably difficult for the Ontario native to find sweaters to fit over his big shoulders and massive abs. After attending McGill University in Montreal, Cameron began modeling and appearing in commercials — which naturally led to acting. The ingenue made his movie debut alongside Ryan Phillippe and Salma Hayek in the disco flick 54 (1998). Since then, he’s played Detective Mike Kingston on the Hallmark Channel’s Murder, She Baked series (2015-2017, 2021). Of course, he’s best known as the oft topless Ryan Lavery from the daytime saga All My Children (1997-2011). More recently, the soap opera stud was cast as Drew Cain on General Hospital (2021-2022). In between, he could be seen co-anchoring Entertainment Tonight (2007, 2014-2019, 2021). Cameron has also hosted I Wanna Be a Soap Star (2005-2007); Instant Beauty Pageant (2006-2007); Your Place or Mine? (2008); Game of Homes (2015); Clash of the Grandmas (2016); and Home & Family (2007, 2010-2015, 2019-2022). If that’s not impressive enough, the boob tube babe showed off his slick moves in skimpy costumes as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars (2007). Cameron came in 5th place, but he won us over with his revealing role in the television movie The Surrogate (2013). The TV-14 mystery features Amy Scott, Annie Wersching, and Cameron’s chiseled chest! Seeing the topless hottie’s perfect pecs in bed definitely made this thriller more thrilling!
